About the Journal

Hybrid Human Science (HHS) is a cross-disciplinary magazine that explores the intersections between scientific, technological, and social domains, with particular attention to mathematics, physics, biology, artificial intelligence, and society. It welcomes contributions that connect fields not usually placed in dialogue. The aim of HHS is to inform, to foster debate, and to examine the evolving interactions between these domains and their impact on life.

The conditions under which science is produced are being reshaped — how questions are posed, how evidence is generated, how results are judged, and how research is organized. That transformation is already underway, and the scientific community has barely begun to work out what it means. HHS is a place to think it through in advance, rather than react to it afterward. We publish work that speculates about plausible scenarios, proposes methods that do not yet exist, and raises problems before they become urgent.

Anticipating change also means leaving room for what we cannot yet name. Our Open publication section exists for that: a contribution that fits none of the established formats may be exactly what matters.

We look for motivation, creativity, and the willingness to say what one actually thinks — argued formally, with scientific and academic rigour. Early-career researchers are particularly encouraged to submit.

HHS is published by HHS Press, an independent publisher unaffiliated with any commercial press or institution. This independence is what allows the magazine to define its own editorial criteria.
